Jack's Juice:
While
hunting on our ranch in Oklahoma over Thanksgiving, my wife Mary
Beth walked approximately 100 yards from her stand at 11 AM after
things calmed down and sprayed the ground and brush with "Buck
Aroma" Hot Doe Pee, so as not to have to walk down there at 3:30 or
4 PM. She had a nice cross wind all day blowing from the foam
into the canyon she was expecting a buck to be bedding in.
By 4:45
that evening she had 7 does feeding in front of her when a really nice
10pt came walking out of the brush exactly straight down wind of the
Buck Aroma. Mary Beth said he was all bowed up and never looked
up or at any of the does around him. He just made a bee line for
the foam.
One
shot from her .300 WSM and he was dead in his tracks.
